Position Overview: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial records of the property management company.
This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial information, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a
remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in the
accounting system.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including rent collection and vendor
payments.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Respond to financial inquiries from management and stakeholders.
Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in property
management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
