BOUGAINVILLE BAY Resort & SPA is looking for a:
Bar Manager
Responsibilities:
Manage the business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals;
Monitor beverage stock item and communicate any shortage;
Manage the level, consistency, and quality of service of all menu items;
Ensure that all outlet processes adhere to all hygiene regulations and procedures;
Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is well staffed during peak hours;
Training staff to provide excellent service;
Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls;
Provide specialist advice to guests and colleagues on beverages;
Actively seek and review customer feedback in regard to beverage quality, service, and overall satisfaction and takes appropriate and timely action;
Ensures the shift is received, hand-over and briefing are carried out;
Requirements (Key Skills)
Diploma in Hotel Management or Tourism or any equivalent is desirable;
Minimum of 3 years experiences in a similar role and/or 4 years’ experience in Food & Beverage section;
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
Quick decision maker and ability to take charge of the situations and take responsibilities;
Able to work under pressure;
Adaptable to changes;
