Claims Analyst
We are looking for a Claims Analyst who will oversee insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage.
Responsibilities:
Ensures complete and sound claim settlements.Legal reviews and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.Collect information from various sources to determine insurance liability based on the extent of property or personal damage.Interview claimants and witnessesEstimate if the damage is covered by insurance policies and calculate payments.Work closely with Operations and then also with the clients to ensure a smooth and fair process to appropriately settle all claims in a timely manner.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience working with claims.Transportation industry highly desirable.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong listening, problem solving, and negotiating skills.Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision to manage schedules and meet deadlines.Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.Poised and professional demeanor.Proficient in the use of software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
