We are looking for a
Senior Footwear Pattern Maker (Mass Production)
to lead the development, adjustment, and industrialization of footwear patterns for large-scale manufacturing. The role is responsible for ensuring patterns are technically accurate and optimized for production efficiency, cost control, material utilization, and consistent quality across high-volume production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and finalize footwear patterns based on approved samples, technical specifications, and production requirements.
Lead the
industrialization of patterns
, ensuring they are optimized for mass production, efficiency, material utilization, and cost.
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to
fit, construction, materials, stitching, and production processes
.
Collaborate closely with Technical, Production, Development, and Quality teams to ensure smooth product industrialization and consistent production quality.
Maintain and validate patterns, size grading, specifications, and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with production standards.
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of relevant experience
in footwear pattern making, product development, or industrial footwear manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of
footwear construction and mass production processes
.
Proven expertise in
manual and/or CAD-based pattern making
; experience with Shoemaster is an advantage.
Good understanding of
materials, machinery, stitching processes, and production constraints
.
Strong technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Ability to collaborate effectively with
technical, production, and quality teams
in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
3+ years of relevant experience
in footwear pattern making, product development, or industrial footwear manufacturing
Proven experience in
mass production and pattern industrialization
Strong practical knowledge of footwear construction, pattern development, and size grading
Proficiency in
CAD pattern-making systems
, such as or Shoemaster
Experience working closely with Technical, Production, and Quality teams is highly preferred
