The Technical Specialist is responsible for supporting the industrialization, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes, ensuring the successful launch of new projects and the efficient execution of manufacturing operations. The role oversees process validation, product testing, and change management activities while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. Through close collaboration with Project Leaders, Engineers, and cross-functional teams, the Technical Specialist contributes to process optimization, problem-solving, and the timely delivery of project objectives. By applying Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, the position supports operational excellence, product quality, and overall production performance.
Responsibility range/Scope of duty
Monitor and support the implementation of production processes.
Supervise new project start-up activities and ensure successful project launches.
Lead and support the industrialization of new project start-ups.
Implementation/control of the process of product tests, proto types, already in production and new start-up projects inside the Plant/Client side.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and related documentation.
Cooperate with Project Leader and Engineers to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Guaranteeing the smooth changes implementation and proper implementation timing.
In cooperation with other Company unit’s layout, tooling, timing and production methods defining.
Support business needs through flexibility in working hours when required to meet project deadlines.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen implementation on the shop floor.
Identify root causes of non-conformities and implement corrective actions together with the Project Leader to prevent recurrence.
Maintain professional secrecy and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and signed agreements.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic or other engineering branches.
Knowledge of wire harness production methods and of the production tools: Kaizen, SMED, just in time, WCM etc.
Knowledge of the IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 requirements.
Very good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke, PDCA, 5 Why Analysis, and Ishikawa Diagram.
Knowledge of wire harness design and production processes.
Very good knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Corel, Sigip.
Communication skills, ability to work in groups.
Ability to cooperate with other Company/Clients units.
Ability to work under timing pressure.
Very good time management skills
Experience required
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within the automotive industry.
Language knowledge:
English: B2 level
