is currently recruiting a
Senior Project Finance, Funding & Investment Controller
.
The role will be responsible for the financial control of existing and new projects, investment monitoring and leading processes to secure financing. Through financial analysis and recommendations, the position will support the company’s senior management in decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Investment Control and Funding
Monitor each project’s CAPEX, cash flow, total investment and future capital requirements;
Analyse ROI, IRR and variances against the budget and business plan;
Identify financing opportunities through banks, investment funds and financial institutions;
Lead the financing application, negotiation and closing process in cooperation with the Finance, Legal, Technical and Project teams.
2. Financial Control of EPC Projects
Monitor separately the company’s financial performance as a contractor;
Analyse contract values, costs, invoicing and collections for each project;
Monitor operating expenses, profitability and project margins;
Identify variances and contract financing requirements.
3. Monitoring Financial Relations between Investors
Monitor the ownership percentages and obligations of each investor in SPVs and Joint Ventures;
Track investor contributions, shareholder loans and outstanding obligations;
Monitor the fulfilment of financial obligations under the agreements between investors;
Prepare periodic reports on investors’ contributions and obligations for each project.
Requirements for this position are:
University degree in
Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking
or a related field;
Proven experience in project finance, investment controlling, financial controlling or project funding;
Experience in
CAPEX
monitoring,
cash flow forecasting
,
financial modelling
and
ROI/IRR analysis
;
Experience in
securing or structuring financing
from banks, investment funds or financial institutions;
Very good knowledge of the
banking sector
and financing application processes;
Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills;
High level of professional integrity.
