Wireless and Onsite Support Technician
Purpose of the position:
This position should cover the following duties (but not limited to): Installation, de-installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customer support for PTMP technology, PTP links, Satellite connections, Wi FI APs, Fiber Optic, ADSL/VDSL/IPTV/GPON, etc. Perform site surveys for different technological solutions, in-customer premises network troubleshoots and support. Manage respective ticketing and monitoring platforms to meet KPI and SLA. Propose and take initiatives in new rural zones wireless coverage expansion.
Main Tasks:
Perform installation/deinstallation and maintenance of wireless network (PTP & PTMP) SM and AP.
Perform site survey to reach new territories to offer wireless services.
On-site inspection and recommendation for an efficient maintenance & performance and provide partial or full solutions, suggestion for different HW problems in the field.
Collaborate with wireless engineers and managers to solve all customers complains effectively and with KPI/SLA.
Direct interaction with customers daily both from a network design and ongoing support perspective.
Installation/deinstallation and maintenance of Satellite, WIFI and customer in-premises network.
Routers configuration, fiber optic connections and other duties as per job responsibilities on field works.
Plan and request in advance installation materials and equipment.
Work reports, process and respond in time emails, tickets and other tasks.
Collaboration with other teams, professional representation of the company in work relations with customers.
Education
:
High school diploma or equivalent with the required years of experience.
Experience and Qualifications
:
At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar field.
Skills:
Knowledge of ISP, Wireless telecom system infrastructure and network principles.
Understand the issue and how it affects the customer and company to determine response time.
MS Office, ticketing system, good communication, time management and effective reporting.
Willing to travel around the country.
