Internal Auditor - Construction & Real Estate (Engineering Background).
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute risk-based audit plans for construction and real estate projects;
Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, and procurement controls;
Evaluate the design and efficiency of internal controls related to project management, procurement, and financial processes;
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies;
Examine financial records, statements, transactions, and billing accuracy;
Assess project efficiency in terms of time, resources, and quality control against benchmarks;
Analyze procurement data for compliance with technical specifications and cost-effectiveness;
Identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across processes.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of professional experience;
Possession of a degree from
Civil Engineering
or similar fields ;
Experience in cost engineering and project management in construction is preferable;
Engineering Certifications and Knowledge in Engineering Programs are preferable but not mandatory;
Risk Assessment:
Skilled in identifying potential risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies;
Communication:
Clear and professional in presenting audit findings and collaborating with stakeholders;
Process Improvement:
Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements to systems and controls;
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, project management, cost and procurement;
Integrity & Confidentiality:
Maintains high ethical standards and handles sensitive information responsibly;
Driving License, Class B.
