) is looking for a skilled and motivated Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer
to join one of our international technical projects.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in computer vision and machine learning
who are interested in working on real-world industrial applications. The position is fully remote.
About the Role
The selected candidate will work on training and improving a pipe detection model for technical VVS/plumbing drawings.
The system processes drawing images and returns structured outputs including:
Pipe position
Labels
Dimensions
Materials
A microservice API is already in place, and your focus will be on improving model performance, accuracy, and reliability.
You will collaborate closely with both technical teams and domain experts to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Annotation
Collect, prepare, and annotate training datasets from various pipe drawings and formats.
Model Development
Train, fine-tune, and optimize computer vision models for object detection and line segmentation.
Model Evaluation
Evaluate model performance, analyze failure cases, and continuously improve accuracy.
Collaboration
Work closely with domain experts (VVS/plumbing engineers) to ensure correct interpretation and labeling of technical elements.
Integration Support
Collaborate with backend teams to ensure smooth integration with the existing microservice API.
Essential Requirements
Strong experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Experience with object detection or segmentation models (e.g. YOLO, Mask R-CNN)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Nice to Have
Experience with technical drawings, CAD formats, or OCR
Understanding of engineering drawings (plumbing, VVS, construction)
Experience working with APIs or microservices
