Role Description
We are looking for a
Junior Footwear Pattern Maker (Mass Production)
to support our technical and production teams in developing and adjusting patterns for large-scale manufacturing. The role focuses on ensuring patterns are optimized for production efficiency, cost control, and consistent quality across high volumes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and modifying footwear patterns based on approved samples or technical sheets
Support industrialization of patterns to ensure suitability for mass production processes
Work closely with senior pattern makers to simplify constructions and improve production efficiency
Prepare and adjust patterns for cutting, stitching, and assembly lines.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing standards
Maintain and update technical documentation (patterns, specs, size grading)
Ensure all patterns meet company quality, cost, and timeline requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Basic understanding of footwear construction and industrial manufacturing processes
Knowledge of pattern making (manual and CAD systems)
Awareness of production constraints (machinery, stitching limits, material behavior)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
Good problem-solving skills with a practical, production-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment
Team player with good communication skills
Education & Experience
0–2 years of experience in a footwear factory or development environment (internships acceptable)
Experience with CAD systems (e.g., Autocad or Shoemaster) is an advantage
