Job Summary: The Webmaster will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our WordPress website, which was built with Elementor. This includes ensuring seamless content updates, conducting regular SEO audits, optimizing site performance, managing plugins, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate must understand WordPress, web development, SEO best practices, and website analytics. By keeping our website at peak performance, this role will directly impact our ability to attract and retain clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management:
Update and manage our website (sherocommerce.com) content using the Elementor page builder.
Ensure consistency and quality across all web pages, aligning with Sherocommerce’s branding and messaging.
SEO Optimization:
Perform regular SEO audits to identify and address issues.
Monitor website traffic and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize website loading speeds and overall performance.
Conduct regular checks to ensure mobile-friendliness and cross-browser compatibility.
Plugin & Theme Management:
Regularly update plugins, themes, and the WordPress core.
Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts.
Research and recommend new plugins or tools to improve site functionality.
Security and Maintenance:
Ensure the website’s security by implementing and maintaining best practices.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with the Shero Commerce team to align the website with marketing and branding strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Webmaster, WordPress Developer, or similar role.
Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor page builder.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
Experience with website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
Knowledge of website security practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).
Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
Experience with website migration and hosting management.
