Network OSS Platforms Specialist
Purpose of the Position: Implementation, Administration & Operation, Support, Maintenance & Routine Checks, System Back-ups, Monitoring & Reporting.
Main Tasks:
Administration and maintenance of the platforms OSS, ENM, ENIQ, Transmission NMSs, Polystar, Vendor Remote Access, Planning & Optimizations tools. Troubleshooting & escalation of problems faced based on support agreement procedures (Failure Report). Coordination of Remedy System, SDH and SS7 monitoring activities and user requests.
Schedule procedures for health checks and backups. Monitoring the performance of the platforms in order to face timely network problems or system malfunctions.
Participating in the night/scheduled activities as per work distribution. Implementation & integration, architecture enhancement & upgrade of overall Platforms.
Reporting, of Unit activities (incidents, scheduled activities, etc).
Active participation on the internal projects of the Team and other projects (with other Departments) that the Team is responsible for.
Education: University degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Informatics.
Experience: At least 1 year experience in the same field.
Skills:
Proficient in operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux), databases (Oracle, Informix), and scripting/application development,
Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines,
Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy,
Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality,
Excellent English communication skills.
