On behalf of a well-known company with many years of activity in Albania and the region, DIMENSION HR is recruiting candidates for the position of Finance Manager.
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager prepares financial statements, balance sheets, and other business reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing cost trends, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future income and expenses. The role reports the company’s financials to management and provides recommendations on the utilization of existing resources to achieve the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Duties:
Prepare accurate accounting reports and present results.
Prepare financial statements within approved deadlines.
Provide technical support and advice to overall management.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Participate in setting financial standards and forecasting/budgeting processes.
Support the month-end and year-end financial reporting process.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Communicate with the Administrator, Department Managers, and External Auditors regarding the internal control system and implementation of established procedures.
Maintain and oversee the internal information and accounting system by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Operational Duties:
Document financial transactions by recording accounting information.
Summarize the current financial status by collecting data; prepare balance sheet reports, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Verify financial transactions by auditing source documents.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Ensure financial information by maintaining database backups
Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
Manage the payroll system (control, maintenance).
Conduct monthly inventory clearance in the main warehouse related to finished and semi-finished products.
Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge:
University degree in Finance – Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an equivalent position.
Strong understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
Full knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience in preparing financial statements
Experience in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Good administrative skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong numerical aptitude and data processing skills.
Must have excellent command of the English language.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
