Role Overview: The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Projects:
Learning Management System (LMS):
Overview: Develop a comprehensive Learning Management System that will provide customers with access to over 100 educational videos. The platform will include features such as learning progress tracking and chapter tests.
Future Vision: Initially, courses will be purchased from providers, but the long-term goal is to generate proprietary video content using AI tools, such as Synthesia, to create dynamic and personalized learning experiences.
Numerology Report Website:
Overview: Create a website that offers personalized numerology reports generated through AI. Customers will input specific details to create their numerological profile, and the system will produce a 5-10 page report using AI-driven content generation.
Future Vision: The platform will leverage advanced AI tools, including ChatGPT, to provide detailed and insightful reports tailored to each customer’s unique profile.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and project objectives are met.
Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring timely and successful delivery of all project milestones.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all technical aspects of the projects are effectively managed.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform project decisions and strategies.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and senior management.
Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable updates.
Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are thoroughly tested before deployment.
Implement and oversee testing processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Proactively resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects stay on track.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and status reports.
Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management, providing insights into project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience:
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role within the e-commerce or technology sector.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept to launch.
Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in digital product development.
Prior experience with LMS development or AI-driven platforms is highly desirable.
Skills:
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong technical background, with experience in web development, e-commerce platforms, and/or digital product development.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Confluence).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
