Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Grant Thornton in Albania is assisting one of its clients, which is a leading company in the field of Retail,
for the recruitment of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Position Title: Chief Financial Officer
Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company.
This position ensures compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and relevant laws, while accurately always reflecting
the company’s financial position.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and financial performance to optimize liquidity.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategies to the board and investors.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: Previous experience, in finance leadership role in retail.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with strong analytical skills.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of national and international accounting and financial reporting standards, as well as audit and internal control procedures.
Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Professional Attributes: High level of professionalism, independence, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to ethical business practices and a strategic vision.
