Position Overview:
As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing accurate financial reports that comply with regulatory standards and provide valuable insights for decision-making. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of financial statements, manage reporting processes, and contribute to continuous improvement in reporting practices. Your role will be critical in supporting strategic planning, financial transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely submission of accurate reports.
Reconcile financial data to ensure consistency between general ledger accounts and financial reports.
Collaborate with internal teams, including accounting and finance, to gather and validate financial information.
Support the development and implementation of reporting automation tools to streamline processes.
Monitor changes in financial regulations and ensure the company’s reporting practices remain compliant.
Assist in preparing reports for senior management and external stakeholders, providing financial insights and analysis.
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate historical financial data.
Address ad hoc financial reporting requests from various stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
Proven experience in financial reporting, preferably within a corporate environment.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with financial data analysis and working with large datasets.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Technical Information:
Day shifts from Monday to Friday 10:00-19:00
Office in the center of Tirana
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are MUST!
