The Legal Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and expertise across various areas of law. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues and topics.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on matters relating to governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents.
Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations and business activities.
Assist with the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and best practices.
Handle legal inquiries and requests
Maintain accurate and organized legal files and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field;
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a legal role, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in conducting legal research using online databases and resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Membership in the state bar association is a plus.
