Carrier Business Specialist
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Management of all activities related to interconnection agreements with national operators. Perform business case analyses. Follow up the evolution of the national interconnection market. Management of commercial and business relations as well as related agreements with national operators regarding traffic flow, interconnection connect, etc.
Main Tasks:
1.Commercial Functions:
Develops contacts and manages relationships with all National Operators in regards to Interconnection of Voice and SMS streams;
Act as internal and external point of contact for National Interconnection Business related queries;
Management of National Interconnection agreements: (drafting, signing, implementation of the agreements, etc.);
Short text service agreement management (drafting, signing, implementation of the agreement, etc.);
Coordination of all internal teams and functions regarding SMS Interworking service implementation and availability as per defined terms;
Negotiations with national operators regarding traffic, prices, volumes, transit;
Meeting the requirements of national operators regarding changes of route, transit, origin, termination, etc.;
Preparation of national origin, routing and transit models by finding the most profitable routes for the company;
Providing periodical Sell rate to the national operators for A-Z destinations based on commercial changes of international carriers and/or operators;
Update code schema and Routing table for the destinations offered to national operators;
Conduct the commercial/financial analysis on a regular basis to monitor the profitability and the margins needed as a foundation in producing the yearly commercial plan and budget for each year;
Prepare National Interconnection Budgeting: Volumes in/out, Revenue/Cost, Voice and SMS P2P;
Handle, monitor and coordinate the in/out National Interconnection business-related communications related but not limited to;
Complaints, issues related to technical/ financial/ invoices/ charging/ Bill Disputes;
2.Operational Functions:
Coordination of technical teams regarding traffic routing, implementation of new connections, disconnection of existing national operators;
National operator agreement management according to the NRE requirements;
Implementation and eventual management in the new IX Billing system of any existing and new interconnection connections;
Prepare the daily and monthly commercial and financial report as per standard templates: originated, terminated and transit traffic;
Providing monthly figures presentation with analyses on the KPI target;
Providing Monthly invoicing information of the national operators to Finance Department, according to the confirmation of BI/BSS Wholesale;
Providing financial declaration on the national operator’s expenses, according to the confirmation of BI/BSS Wholesale;
Report any traffic discrepancy and fraudulent behavior traffic in time to the relevant teams and/or International Carriers;
Support for the other Departments related to the implementation of the Access / Interconnection Agreement;
Support for the Legal Regulation Competition Group for the implementation of legal obligations;
Support for other Departments of the company regarding any information on interconnection services for the implementation of legal obligations;
3.Other Functions :
Carries out every assignment communicated from first and higher line superiors.
Education: University Degree.
Experience and Qualifications: At least 2 years of similar experience.
Skills:
Very good knowledge of English language;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Very good communication and negotiation skills;
Ability to take action as a contributing member in a team environment;
Personal attributes (Intellect, flexibility and adaptability, self-regulatory skills, self-motivation, self-assurance, willingness to learn, commercial awareness).
Available to work overtime when needed.
