Job Position: Database And Core Banking System Administrator

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Carry out the duty in compliance with UBA. Regulations & Procedures as well as with the Albanian legal framework.Exercise honesty, objectivity and diligence in the performance of duties and responsibilities.Be prudent in the use of information acquired in the course of her/his duties. She/he shall not use the confidential information for any personal gain nor in any manner, which would be contrary to the Law or detrimental to the welfare of the Bank.Operate and manage the DB (SQL)Creation of different procedures for reports and maintenance of reports (Credit Registry, Budget, Bank Reports, etc.)Delete and modify the wrong transactions made by users (employees), according to the approved procedures.Act and participate in any new development and projects.To alternate the IT Manager and Network & System Administrator in their absence.Administrate the core banking systemParameterize and test new functionalities, Products on Core SystemCreate modify core systems user profiles according to approved proceduresAdd, remove, modify, assign core system users as per their job description and according to approved proceduresPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing informationConfer with staff, users and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications, according to approved procedures.Prepare evaluations of Database and Core system and recommend improvements or upgradesPerform and monitor Core Banking System BackupDevelop training materials and procedures and/or train users in the proper use of Core SystemPerform other work in accordance with the legal, sub legal regulations and general enactments of the Bank and at the instructions of the IT Manager.Open and Manage tasks on Core Banking System Provider, Helpdesk portal.Performing other work in accordance with the legal, sub legal regulations and general enactments of the Bank and at the instructions of the Department Manager and Chief Technology and Operations Officer.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
University Degree in Information Technology or a related field.More than three yearsÂ’ IT experienceHigh proficiency with MS SQL language and database managementWorking experience in banking sector is a plusBusiness acumen, knowledge and professionalismPossess solid Technical & Project management skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganizational, decision-making and problem-solving skillsAble to work well both alone and in a team.Handles highly confidential informationGood knowledge of spoken and written English.
