Bar Manager
Responsibilities:
Manage the business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals;
Monitor beverage stock item and communicate any shortage;
Manage the level, consistency, and quality of service of all menu items;
Ensure that all outlet processes adhere to all hygiene regulations and procedures;
Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is well staffed during peak hours;
Training staff to provide excellent service;
Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls;
Provide specialist advice to guests and colleagues on beverages;
Actively seek and review customer feedback in regard to beverage quality, service, and overall satisfaction and takes appropriate and timely action;
Ensures the shift is received, hand-over and briefing are carried out;
Requirements (Key Skills)
Diploma in Hotel Management or Tourism or any equivalent is desirable.
Minimum of 3 years experiences in a similar role and/or 4 years’ experience in Food & Beverage section.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Quick decision maker and ability to take charge of the situations and take responsibilities
Able to work under pressure
Adaptable to changes
