RAN Support Specialist
RAN Support Specialists are responsible for the smooth operation and high performance of Radio Access Network (RAN) Elements (BSC, RNC, RBS) as second-line support for GSM, WCDMA, and LTE Networks.
Main Tasks:
Deal with RAN elements interface problems, by monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting the problems;
Creation/implementation of Scripts (procedures) to perform massive changes in RAN;
Performing software upgrades for RAN network elements;
Responsible for integrations of new sites and reconfigurations in RAN;
Following active participation in the integration of new network elements (RNC, BSC) in the RAN network;
Standby/health checks/backups;
RAN Spare parts administration;
Participating in other team activities.
Education: University Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication.
Experience: At least 2 years as a radio network engineer in mobile operator, preferably network radio access integrator.
Skills:
Good knowledge of Office Package and various integration tools;
Good language skills (written & spoke) in English;
Team working oriented and good communication skills;
High level of personal responsibility, self-motivating, open-minded behavior.
