Our hotel is the perfect destination for both leisure and business travelers, providing a serene environment and a wide range of facilities.
    Job Mission​The Groups & Events Coordinator at Meliá Durrës will be responsible for maximizing profits through the effective planning and coordination of groups and events. This role is essential in ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly, meeting and exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel.
    What You Will Do​
    Group Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact between the group and the hotel, ensuring all needs are met.
    Price Quoting: Prepare price quotes for all group requests for social events and meetings, aiming to generate the greatest amount of business for the hotel.
    Operational Details: Coordinate all operational details of groups and events, communicating efficiently with all departments involved.
    Documentation: Prepare group summaries and Food and Beverage service orders, distributing them at least 7 days before the event.
    Customer Interaction: Introduce yourself to customers as the new contact person for planning and group stays, confirming contracted services and sending follow-up communications.
    Upselling: Analyze customer needs to upsell food, beverages, and services, maximizing sales and profit.
    What We Are Looking For​
    Previous experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.
    Strong organizational and communication skills.
    Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    A degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field is preferred.
    A proactive and customer-focused approach.
    A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
