Key Account Manager
To further develop the current portfolio and expand the existing business.
Job OverviewThe Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers—doctors, top pharmacies, and pharmacy chains. The role is focused on driving sales growth from targeted key accounts within the territory through effective promotion of assigned brands.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers (doctors, pharmacists).
Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Prepare and conduct brand presentations for doctors.
Create and maintain a database of healthcare professionals (HCPs) within the assigned territory, highlighting the significance of each stakeholder to the business.
Organize and participate in scientific events, including conferences and seminars.
Implement and execute brand strategies.
Adapt promotional materials as needed.
Conduct competitive analysis and develop strategies for optimal brand positioning.
Maximize sales volume to meet country-level revenue targets.
Manage the promotional budget effectively.
Define and achieve measurable goals and KPIs for HCPs and pharmacy chains.
Provide regular reports on market conditions, sales performance, and customer development.
Develop value-added propositions for portfolio and sales development.
Requirements for the Position
University degree (a degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences is an advantage).
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Medical Representatives Manager, or Sales Manager.
Very good in English.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Field work requirements: 90% field work, primarily focused on Tirana and major cities.
A valid driving license.
Personal Skills
Independent, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Advanced communication and presentation skills.
Assertive and focused on business results.
Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsible and capable of making independent decisions in client communication.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
