Financial Reporting Expert
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation and analysis of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders in compliance with accounting standards, ensuring transparency, and supporting decision-making processes through detailed financial insights.
Main Tasks:
Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly management reports. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all financial data in reports.
Ensure all financial reports are delivered within established deadlines, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Analyse financial data to provide insights on company performance, including cost control, revenue growth, and profitability. Develop variance analyses between actual and budgeted financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of reports to external stakeholders such as auditors, regulatory etc.
Support forecasting and budgeting processes by providing financial data and insights.
Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline reporting, enhance accuracy, and reduce financial risk.
Assist in implementing financial reporting systems, tools, and technologies for improved efficiency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide relevant financial information.
Other duties as per Job Responsibilities.
Education: University Degree or MSC and Certification.
Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related financial field. Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP software.
Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of financial statements and performance metrics.
Knowledge of financial reporting standards.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
