Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Dispatching and Tracking Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from home. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in logistics or dispatching, and a knack for tracking and managing schedules efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule shipments, deliveries, or services based on customer requirements.
Monitor and track shipments or services to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with drivers, service providers, and customers to provide updates and resolve any issues.
Utilize tracking systems and software to maintain accurate records of shipments and services.
Optimize routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer service excellence.
Requirements:
Proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using dispatching software or tracking systems (e.g., GPS tracking, route optimization tools).
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance (preferred).
College diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
