As a Senior Quality you and your colleagues will ensure the quality of our products and will be make sure to correctly implement various (laboratory) research methods. Next Generation works in accordance with the standards ISO 22716 or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and IFS (International Food Standard), so at least 5 years of experience in the aforementioned is required.
Your departments main responsibilities will be: taking care of the product and quality control on a daily base, checking raw materials, semi-finished products and end products, mixing raw materials into an end product according to a certain recipe, preparing samples of new innovative products on request, managing the registration of all production and quality data and of course ensuring a clean and safe working environment. You as a quality manager will be making sure that all of these tasks will be carried out perfectly.
Furthermore, as a quality manager you will be working directly under the general manager and the management of the mother company in the Netherlands, so excellent English skills will be an absolute must. You will also be theirs and the customers main contact person for all kinds of quality- and compliance- related queries and as one of your main tasks you will be managing the companys GMP- and IFS manuals by regularly improving- and keeping them up to date.
Another major part of the job will be preparing and updating product information dossiers from all of our cosmetic- and household products. In order to do so you will be working closely with the upper management of the Dutch mother company and their European partners, like safety assessors and other regulatory specialists. It would be very beneficial to have some experience already with the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009 and the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation ((EC) No 1272/2008) or willing to invest extra time and effort in order to gain the necessary expertise in these fields.
Required skills:
You have at least a bachelors degree in laboratory engineering/ Chemistry or equivalentExperience in managing a GMP environment (preferably cosmetics)Or similar experience in IFS (international food standard) and conducting its periodic audits and dealing with external auditors in a correct and professional mannerExperience in the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) N° 1223/2009 would be a proExperience in the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation ((EC) No 1272/2008) would be a proHigh level English in written and spokenExcellent management- and communication skillsCapable of running several tasks in parallelAnalytically strong and very preciselyExperience in Microsoft Office
