About the Role: As a Team Leader overseeing Monitoring Operations, you will spearhead our Event Management service, which focuses on the proactive monitoring of our IT infrastructure. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring seamless operations aligned with standardized procedures compliant with ITIL standards. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a robust monitoring ecosystem, integrating seamlessly with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Monitoring Operators in proactive and reactive monitoring of IT infrastructure.
Assess the criticality and impact on client services, ensuring swift resolution.
Oversee adherence to predefined operational workflows and escalation management processes.
Foster integration with NOC and SOC functions to ensure seamless interoperability.
Manage technological integrations with monitoring, ticketing, asset management, and repository tools.
Uphold ITIL standards and best practices across all operational activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education.
Proficiency in BMC TrueSight or similar monitoring tools.
Experience with trouble ticketing systems such as Service Now, Remedy ITSM, Jira, etc.
Familiarity with ITIL standards and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
Proficiency in written and spoken Italian.
