    JOB DESCRIPTION


    Role Title:FTTH PROJECT MANAGERDepartment:Project ManagementReports to (role title):Operations Manager


    Role Purpose:The FTTH Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager and in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.


    Key Acountabilities:
    Manage entire projects from the design / planning stage, all the way through to completion of complex network designs.
    Ensure that H&S regulations are adhered to at all times on the project.
    Successfully manage project costs and ensure the profitability of the project.
    Manage, build and lead the project team.
    Streamline the delivery process by implementing processes and apply new technology.
    Regularly liaise with the client to report on the project and ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved.
    Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the successful completion of the project.
    Report in to stake holders and senior management on a regular basis.
    Support the commercial team when they are preparing bids and quotations on new projects.
    Usage of company’s digital tools to ensure high quality of work execution.



    Knowledge / Skills / Experience required: (Include Professional / Technical and Personal Attributes)
    Strong experience working as a manager in the Fixed Line Telecoms industry.
    Demonstrable experience working on FTTH projects, with a clear understanding on various network architectures and emerging technologies.
    A well-developed problem solver and very strong analytical skills.
    Able to successfully lead and manage a project team.
    Full clean driving licence.
    Ability to set and monitor a budget.
    Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
    Proficient in English language.
    Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities.
    Keen attention to detail.

    Responsible for productivity, evaluates resource utilization by comparing actual effort to budgeted effort, impacting the project's profitability.
    Responsible for quality and satisfaction, ensures low defects throughout the project and a high-quality final deliverable, enhancing customer satisfaction.
    Responsible for cost. Continuous monitoring for adjustments to ensure project objectives are met.
    Relationships:

    Regular interaction with Operations & Finance team.
    Regular reporting to Operations Manager.
    Suppliers & Customers.
