Job Title: Chef de Partie (Seasonal – April to September)
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Position Summary:
Green Coast Hotel is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team for the peak season from April to September. The Chef de Partie will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. This seasonal role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team to maintain the standards of a 5-star hotel kitchen during the busy summer season.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and the hotel’s standards.
Manage and supervise a particular kitchen station (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, vegetables).
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during high-volume periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Monitor portion control and food wastage.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with inventory management and report any shortages to the Sous Chef.
Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Participate in menu planning and development when required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-standard kitchen environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Seasonal Note: This role is seasonal from April to September, ideal for candidates seeking experience in a fast-paced luxury resort environment
