What you’ll do:
Maintain the general ledger accounts by monitoring journal entry preparation; preparing monthly accruals and entries and reconciling accounts monthly;
Preparing statutory annual accounts, consolidations and periodic reports;
Assistance with the preparation of all tax returns (VAT, income tax, WHT, etc.);
Assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements to international reporting standards;
Handle payroll matters, familiar with local and regional legislations.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable with 3 year or more experience in a similar accounting related role;
Prior tax compliance experience;
Self-starter, organized, attention to detail, deadline oriented;
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian;
Knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles including International Accounting Standards;
MS Office experience required including extensive Excel knowledge;
Regional payroll experience preferred.
Experience with SAP in the past is a plus.
