We are seeking a skilled Business, Processes & Data Analyst to support the design, implementation,
and maintenance of data and process models for digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce, review, and maintain artefacts related to business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Develop, maintain, and map new and existing data and process models, including data hubs.
Define process and data transformation roadmaps for digital initiatives.
Analyze data and process requirements arising from business needs and legislation.
Define semantic descriptions, code lists, and formats of data requirements.
Present data and process models in a structured manner using standard tools.
Follow up on project plans, enforce quality delivery, and validate artefacts from external contractors.
Provide guidance, training materials, and functional scenarios for system usage.
Coordinate stakeholders across business and digital teams, subcontractors, and external partners.
Identify and escalate potential risks affecting time, resources, or quality.
Qualifications:
EQF Level 6 degree in Management of Information Systems, Information Technology, Digital Transformation,
Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Analysis and Modelling, Economics, Engineering, Trade/Logistics, or a related field.
Certification in BPMN or UML; PMI-PBA, CDPM, or OMG BPM certifications are an asset.
Knowledge of EU Customs Data Model (EUCDM) or WCO Data Model is an asset.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in data and process modelling.
Experience with tools supporting process, service, and data analysis (e.g., ARIS, IBM Rational suite).
Experience in public administration, preferably in customs, taxation, finance, or climate-related sectors, is an asset.
Familiarity with methodologies such as EU BPM, TEMPO, or RUP@EC is desirable.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to quickly learn and apply prescribed methodologies.
Capability to present results in a structured, consistent, and professional manner.
Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
