About the Role:Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with strong communication skills? We’re looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support our Executive Purchaser in handling procurement tasks and ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, warehouse teams, finance, and logistics. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining efficient purchasing operations, tracking shipments, resolving discrepancies, and optimizing cost efficiency.
What You’ll Do: Purchase Order Management
Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely tracking and delivery.
Communicate with vendors and overseas agents to maintain accurate delivery schedules.
Identify and resolve order delays or discrepancies.
Data Analysis & Issue Resolution
Analyze receipts and reports to detect missing or short-shipped orders.
Work with vendors and shippers to claim credits or recover missing items.
Catalog & Spreadsheet Management
Maintain and update the master product catalog in collaboration with Product Development.
Track ongoing procurement issues and organize data for easy reference.
Logistics & Shipping Coordination
Work with warehouses, freight forwarders, and trucking companies to optimize delivery schedules.
Monitor shipment costs and identify savings opportunities.
Ensure accurate customs filing with brokers for cost efficiency.
Quality Control & Vendor Communication
Coordinate with QC teams and vendors to resolve product quality issues.
Financial & Billing Tasks
Process purchase order closures and billing.
Maintain a 4-8 week cash flow prepayment pipeline.
What You Bring: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using computers and spreadsheets.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
