EPPC Albania, on behalf of its client, is currently recruiting a Head of Legal.
Essential Responsibilities:
Contract management: you will oversee customer contract negotiations and ensure that local laws are complied with. You must collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success and finance.
Legal policies and processes: you will set up the legal function for success, implementing new policies and processes and ensuring the company’s risks are covered. You will support all other company functions with legal matters including but not limited to assisting the procurement function with vendor contract reviews, providing guidance to the HR team with new and/or existing locations, etc.
Employment law: ensure compliance with local laws for all employment-related matters (contracts, special clauses, terminations etc.). You will work closely with HR team.
Litigation and Dispute Management: You will handle all legal disputes, including product liability claims and contractual disputes. You will work closely with external partners to represent the company’s interests.
Intellectual Property: You will ensure that the company’s IP is protected and will collaborate with external IP advisors whenever necessary.
Requirements for this position are:
Master's degree in Law;
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal role;
Proven experience in managing a legal team;
Strong legal research and analytical skills;
Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts;
Knowledge of regulatory compliance;
Experience in litigation and dispute resolution;
Very good English knowledge.
