Business Continuity Management Officer
Purpose of position: To develop, implement and maintain the BCM program based on ISO 22301 and Albanian Legislation to ensure that the organization can continue operating during and after disruptions. Responsible for establishing BCM processes and procedures, including the development of BC, IT DR, Network DR and Contingency planning, identification of local contingency facilities and requirements, through to status reporting to the Information Security & BCM HoD.
Main Tasks:
Create comprehensive business continuity plan/s to ensure continued operations during disruptions by coordinating business contingency planning efforts with a major focus on assuring the adequacy of business unit contingency plans for critical business areas, functions, and applications;
Enhance business contingency plans, mitigating the effect of a technology system/s , application failure or problems affecting business continuity capabilities.
Develop and maintain emergency response procedures;
Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and impact risk assessments to determine critical business functions and processes and their respective risks;
Regularly review and update business continuity plans to ensure they remain current and effective;
Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for staff on business continuity procedures;
Assist in enhancing, formalizing, and standardizing the business planning process, including forecasting and tracking mechanisms, across all business structures;
Assume coordination and leadership role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining comprehensive business contingency plans and validation methodology;
Coordination of Disaster Recovery drills , exercises, and simulations to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans;
Establish communication plans to ensure effective internal and external communication during a crisis;
Ensure compliance and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to business continuity/disaster recovery;
Other duties at the request of the Superior based of job profile.
Education: University Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences Fields, Electronic or Business Informatics.
Experience and Qualifications: At least two years of previous experience on business continuity related positions.
Skills:
Excellent analytical, communication & coordination skills;
Knowledges in ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 standards;
Professional certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent;
Certifications in BCM System Planer/BCCP, BCCS/BCCE, ISO27001 Lead/Internal Auditor will be a plus;
Good knowledge on IT & Network Management and Telecommunications;
Ability to work effectively with various departments, stakeholders, and third-party vendors;
Able to plan and coordinate projects related to job position;
Self-confidence and ability to work in team;
Capability to conduct trainings related to Business Continuity;
Able to prepare high level reports & presentations.
