EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, a Leading e-commerce company in Albania and Europe, is currently recruiting a Head of Operations & Sales - Ecommerce.
This role will report directly to the CEO and is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations while building the structure and processes needed for scalable growth in the ecommerce business. You will play a key role in driving commercial performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high customer satisfaction by managing the local team and working closely with HQ. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience in ecommerce or retail, scaling operations, building high-performing teams, and driving measurable results.
Major responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all daily operations of the ecommerce business, driving efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction;
Track, analyze and optimize performance across all operational and commercial areas (orders, fulfillment, delivery, customer service, sales KPIs);
Drive excellence across sales, logistics, online marketing, and back-office functions to fuel growth;
Work closely with marketing & HQ teams on online purchase to delivery and after-sales support;
Ensure a smooth end-to-end customer journey, from online purchase to delivery and after-sales support;
Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership and delivering results;
Guide the team in building the foundation for the next growth phase of the business.
Requirements for this position are:
Proven experience in ecommerce and/or retail is strongly preferred; experience in FMCG retail is a plus;
Min 5 years of experience in operations management and/or commercial roles (e.g. ecommerce operations, online sales, category management, or online marketing);
Hands-on mentality: comfortable stepping into daily operations when needed, while maintaining oversight;
Proven track record of scaling teams, processes, and operations in high-growth environments;
Experience working with online channels (website, marketplace, or digital platforms) and understating of key ecommerce metrics;
Strong analytical, problem solving and execution skills;
Proficiency in Excel, experience with ERP software such Odoo is a plus;
Very good English both verbal and written.
