Kastrati Group, one of the largest and most well-known business groups in Albania and the region, founded in 1991, is expanding its operations and is seeking to hire a Energy Operations & Trading Specialist for its offices. The company operates across various sectors, including energy, oil, construction, services, and trade, and has a successful track record as a leader in its industry.
Responsibilities:
Nominate and schedule renewable generation positions (e.g., PV) in line with market requirements.
Manage and optimize positions in Day-Ahead and Intraday markets.
Monitor the performance of renewable energy assets.
Adjust schedules and nominations based on changes in production, consumption, or market conditions.
Support operational reporting and provide insights to improve scheduling efficiency.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth energy delivery and compliance with market regulations.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or related field.
Energy nomination and scheduling for renewable generation assets (e.g., PV)
Day-Ahead Market (DAM) and Intraday market operations.
Knowledge of renewable energy assets and their operational requirements.
Basic data analysis and reporting (Excel, Python, or similar tools).
Knowledge of DAMAS, Novita and energy trading platforms used in South Eastern Europe.
Understanding of market rules, grid requirements, and operational constraints.
