Junior Doctor
who will report to the Company Doctor of the company.
Position Purpose
Junior Doctor is responsible for delivering immediate medical care and first aid services within the airport, ensuring the prompt, safe, and professional management of medical emergencies involving passengers, visitors, and airport personnel. The role provides medical and administrative support to the Company Doctor in operational and occupational health matters, including the verification of medical certificates, assessment of sick leaves, and maintenance of staff medical records, in full compliance with TIA health and safety policies and national health regulations.
In addition, the Junior Doctor offers clinical guidance to First Aid Assistants in the administration of medication and medical procedures as required and remains available on a 24/7 on-call basis to respond to medical needs or emergencies within the airport premises.
Key Responsibilities
First Aid and Emergency Medical Care
Provide prompt first aid and medical assistance to passengers, airport employees, and visitors as required.
Assist in stabilizing and continuously monitoring patients until they are handed over to, or external emergency medical services arrive.
Ensure the operational readiness and proper maintenance of all first aid equipment, oxygen supplies, medications, and emergency medical kits.
Actively participate in medical response operations during airport emergencies, including aircraft incidents, fires, and mass casualty situations.
Adhere strictly to TIA Safety, Security, and Health Procedures while performing all medical interventions and emergency response
Occupational Health Support
Conduct medical verification visits (home visits) for employees on sick leave, ensuring compliance with company policy and national health regulations.
Support the Company Doctor in maintaining and updating employee medical files, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
Assist in monitoring fitness-for-work assessments and other occupational health requirements.
Participate in awareness and preventive health campaigns organized by the First Aid Unit or HR
Administrative and Coordination Tasks
Maintain daily records of medical interventions and incidents.
Report medical cases, incidents, and occupational health findings to the Company Doctor.
Assist in inventory control of medical supplies, medications, and consumables.
Support the implementation of health and safety protocols and participate in related training or drills
Qualifications Acquired
Licensed Medical Doctor (required).
Valid driving license (required).
Additional certification in Emergency Medicine, Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) (preferred).
Skills and Abilities
• Strong clinical and first aid skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and responsible attitude.
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• High ethical standards, reliability, and integrity.
