EUROLAB INTERNATIONAL GROUP is one of the pioneering companies in the sector of sale, distribution, and import of food and beverage products in Albania and operates in eight Southeast European markets.
Due to its growth, Eurolab Internacional Grup is seeking to hire a "Business Unit Manager/Wine."
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven business unit manager to lead and oversee the operations, performance, and strategic direction of our [specific business unit]. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen business acumen, and a proven ability to drive growth and efficiency within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals.
Manage day-to-day operations of the business unit, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with corporate objectives.
Lead, motivate, and support a high-performing team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Analyze financial and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and innovation.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Specialized knowledge and passion for wine: grape varietals, wine regions, classifications production methods, etc.
Certification in wine education preferred
5+ years of experience in wine category, brand, or business unit management
Strong leadership and cross-functional team coordination skills
Proven ability to build and execute successful wine category strategies
Excellent analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of trade marketing and retail dynamics in the wine industry
Fluent in English and Italian language
Proficient in MS Office; experience with sales/performance analytics tools is a plus
Willingness to travel, including field visits and attendance at wine industry events and fairs.
