PRODUCT MANAGER
POSITION ROLE: This role will have extensive interaction with sales force management, key internal support functions, external agencies,key opinion leaders and other internal/external customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Devise and implement high growth product marketing plans aimed to increase market share.
- Identify local opportunities for licensing products which complement with the existing product portfolios while maintaining company values
- Develop a product pipeline and provide financial justification for new product selection, develop new product definitions and direct and manage the development efforts for these products.
- Monitor the products'presence and their marketing support
- Write and implement marketing plans for new products and find specific ways products can be positioned or improved to drive market share.
- Communicate campaigns to Medical Representatives;assist and train them
- Provide the information for sales forecasting
- Develop contacts with key opinion leaders;maintain professional customer relationships with doctors and other allied health care professionals in order to understand, predict, and influence Company’s marketplace.
- Determine product pricing and discount tolerance by utilizing marketing metrics.
- Monitor returns to keep abreast of quality issues and product improvement requirements.
- Optimize product distribution strategy and tactics.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing is required;
- 3+ years in product marketing,brand management,preferably in the healthcare industry, but not a must
- Marketing experience should include experience with new product development and product launches.
- Skilled in analytics such as quantitative market research, forecasting, and supply chain management.
- Excellent communications skills including strong interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills along with strong management skills
- Sales experience a plus.
