Senior Accountant/Chief of Finance
For this position, we are seeking someone with the following qualifications:
º At least 5 years experience in a relevant position
º Bachelors degree in finance, economics or accounting
º Fluent in spoken and written English
º Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly with Excel spreadsheets and ability to independently learn new software
º Familiarity with local accounting legislation and IFRS
º Strong organizational and time management skills
º Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
º Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
º Ability to work/communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and in a team oriented environment
º Strong work ethic and attention to detail
º High degree of independence, accountability, flexibility, initiative and commitment
Our Senior Accountant/Chief of Finance will be responsible for the following:
º Setup and management of Alpha Financial systems
º Organizing, systemizing, and processing accounting documentation
º Managing all accounting transactions, documents, and processing through our accounting software
º Preparation of financial reports
º Processing and executing accounting and tax transactions as well as bank payments and transfers
º Preparing all statutory reports
º Preparing and delivering management reports and country operating plans
º Tracking of account balances and managing petty cash
º Researching and recommending solutions to various accounting, tax compliance, and reporting issues
º Maintaining close communication with regional finance personnel
