We are seeking a HEAD OF LEGAL AND HUMAN REROURCES for a international company based in Albania.
This dual-role position involves overseeing all legal matters pertaining to the company's operations and leading the human resources department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both legal and HR practices, preferably with experience in the agricultural or manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Compliance: Ensure the company's operations comply with local and international laws and regulations. Handle legal issues, including contracts, labor law, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
Employee Relations and HR Policies: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and legal treatment of all staff.
Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, identifying talent needs and ensuring the company attracts and retains high-quality employees
Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote professional development.
Performance Management: Develop performance management systems that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Legal Advice and Risk Management: Provide legal advice to management on various business matters. Assess and mitigate legal risks facing the company.
Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal standards.
Qualifications and Competency profile:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Legal role and HR management, preferably in the agriculture, or manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of Albanian labor laws and international legal standards.
Proficient in HR practices, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Albanian and proficiency in English.
High ethical standards and professionalism.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Strategic thinker with an ability to see the big picture.
