Mission:
The Asset Warehouse Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the hotel’s assets, ensuring that equipment, materials, and goods are organized and traceable. This role includes recording and reporting inventory, conducting regular inspections to ensure assets are in good condition, and maintaining the proper stock level for each product. The Asset Warehouse Technician is also responsible for collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient asset management and inventory control.
What Will You Have to Do?
Receive, organize, store, and monitor the hotel’s assets in the warehouse.
Ensure goods are checked and verified for quantity, quality, and price in accordance with the placed and approved order.
Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and categorizing of assets for easier identification and alignment of electronic inventory with physical stock.
Conduct regular asset audits to verify the condition and quantity of stored assets.
Maintain accurate records in the asset management system, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of assets to different locations, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
Identify and address discrepancies in the number or location of assets.
Report damaged, lost, or unnecessary assets for further action.
Ensure assets are stored according to safety and operational guidelines to minimize risk.
Keep the storage area organized and efficient for asset storage.
Ensure the maintenance of assets so they remain in good working condition.
What Are We Looking For?
Previous experience in warehouse management, asset tracking, and inventory control.
Knowledge of asset management processes both theoretically and practically.
Good knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, (SAP a plus).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and maintaining asset data.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to conduct regular asset audits and inspections.
