EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, is currently recruiting a Sales Representative.
Major responsibilities:
Design, implement, and enhance the operational risk management framework, ensuring it aligns with regulatory requirements;
Develop and update risk policies, procedures, and methodologies for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring operational risks;
Identify and assess risks associated with payment operations, fraud, cybersecurity, financial crime, vendor relationships, and new technologies;
Conduct risk assessments for payment systems, APIs, and operational workflows, ensuring proper controls are in place;
Investigate operational risk incidents, including payment processing failures, fraud events, or system outages;
Facilitate root cause analysis and ensure the implementation of corrective actions;
Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
Provide regular risk updates to management, identifying trends and provide actionable recommendations;
Work closely with business units to advise on risk mitigation strategies;
Provide subject matter expertise in operational risk during new product launches, projects, or strategic initiatives;
Promote a risk-aware culture across the organization by delivering operational risk training and raising awareness;
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to operational risk;
Prepare and support responses to regulatory inquiries and audits;
Develop, implement, and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans;
Ensure the institution’s resilience against operational disruptions, including system failures, cyber threats, and regulatory challenges.
Requirements for this position are:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field;
Master’s degree or certifications related to Operational risk are preferred;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational risk management, audit, or compliance;
Prior experience in the banking, financial services, e-money institutions. Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks;
Proficiency in risk management tools and technologies;
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
Excellent knowledge of English.
